I used raw milk. When we went to eat it, it was awful! It tasted rancid and I was so bummed. Tonight I made a graham cracker eclair dessert, which was pudding again with raw milk and cool whip mixed in. So excited to serve this, and again, awful! Rancid! I wanted to cry as I dumped it all out. So now I investigate online to see if anyone else has had this problem. I read another blog too that discovered you can’t mix raw milk and cool whip. Cool whip is an oil base and it messes with the raw milk. I made a clear pie using raw milk and Cool whip and it was fine the first day and absolutely disgusting this morning. Thought my fridge was failing. Glad to know I can just scald the milk or skip the Cool whip.
